Referral from a blue chip legal company. Their retained client sought the acquisition of an apartment for company use.

The company made me do it (our client owned the company)!

The Search

Proximity to their London office, located in Farringdon was essential. Therefore we focused on WC1, WC2, EC1 and N1. The requirement was for an equally proportioned two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It became clear that a walking commute to the office was preferable for the CEO. The search was refined to EC1 and WC2 only.

The Result

After negotiating on a new build apartment in Old Street, we advised the client to withdraw the offer due to worryingly uncertain title issues. Our clients subsequently acquired another new build apartment in the vicinity of the Barbican.  The price differential was £250 per sq ft less for this unit over the Old Street apartment, with a clean legal title and closer proximity to the office and central London generally.  Our client was delighted!  TLR curated and purchased a bespoke furniture package.
