Chelsea

SW3 & SW10

Chelsea is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, it is an established and highly desirable London village.  Chelsea has always been popular, due to its central position and range of shops and housing stock. Chelsea sits between the river and Knightsbridge with Belgravia adjacent and Buckingham Palace, St James’s and Victoria close by.

The Kings Road, which is seen as the second shopping area after the West End offers a diverse range of shops, along with restaurants. At its core is Sloane Square (with it’s underground station), Duke of York Square and Peter Jones Department Store. Many of the high end brands are represented in Chelsea on Sloane Street, and also in Knightsbridge, to the immediate north.

The housing stock is very broad, with red brick mansion buildings and flat conversions dominating the area around Sloane Square and low built houses, from all age periods stretching away towards Fulham in the west and also into Belgravia to the immediate east. The Cadogan Estate forms c. 93 acres of Chelsea owned by the Cadogan family and comprises residential, retail and office space. They, like other large Freeholders have worked very hard to improve their Estate.

Chelsea has retained its appeal through the ages and remains a very compelling location for families. It truly offers everything.
