The Brief

An introduction from a large overseas investment bank to a well established London family with an extensive Central London portfolio. The location was not as important as the house itself, making essentially 3 postcodes viable. Looking to buy a family house but requiring a third person perspective on the current Market Value. This was a difficult and expansive brief.

The Search

The client was time poor but incredibly knowledgable of central London areas and properties within. Although it was thought that location was not so important, it became apparent that a W1 postcode was preferred.

The Result

A substantial Marylebone house which had been privately owned for sixty years, became the subject of a competitive bidding process.  Our successful purchase was the result of our extensive knowledge of Market Value in the area, our close relationship with the selling agent and extensive comparable research and development appraisal knowledge to ensure we offered the correct ‘best price’, not simply the highest.
